Rose and Ruby

I am really struggling to find bridesmaid dresses that are (a) affordable = $200, (b) long enough for one of my bridesmaids who is 6 foot 4 inches, (c) that fits all my bridesmaids body shapes as they are all very different and (d) that is available in both Adelaide and Sydney as one of my bridesmaids is in Sydney and cant come down to look for dresses. So I am a little bit stressed in that department.

I found these dresses on Rose and Ruby that I love but two of my bridesmaids cant try them on because we are down here in Adelaide! poo.
I'm not sure really what to do. Any suggestions of places to look for bridesmaid dresses in Adelaide??

oh by the way, I got the white shoes with the bows on them for the wedding shoes. Thanks for all the suggestions. Im going to wear the purple shoes for some photos. x

  1. Myer, David Jones might be good as they generally have the same stuff in Adelaide as in Sydney and Melbourne city stores??? That's where I am hoping to get ours from.
By the way, I LOVE your blog, I'm getting married at Glen Ewin a year after you and can't wait to see the photos from your day - it will be gorgeous! Sheley

  5. I hear your pain! We've spent the last couple of months looking for my friend's bridesmaid dresses and we've had no luck. Like you, we're all scattered across the country and wanted something simple and off the rack so that we could see what it looked like on us all. But alas, apparently that was too much to ask! Adelaide is void of all stylish frock shops. All is not lost though - we've settled on a stunning Oscar de la Renta frock to have made and we're all very excited! As for your search, try Alexandra & Lace in Dulwich, After Dark in Highgate (I haven't been, but drive past all the time!), George on Melbourne Street, this little place in Adelaide Arcade whose name has escaped me . . . and even Whistles? I'm off to a wedding in Victor this weekend and Gem got her dresses from Whistles! Oh, and Miss Gladys Sym Choon used to have grogeous frocks up on the top level. Good luck!

  6. Try Fleur Wood for bridesmaid dresses - they are pretty and flowy, and will likely fit all shapes and sizes (without really needing to try them on).
