Salt Harbor Designs

This is such a beautiful set up by Salt Harbor Designs. But make sure you head over to M&G to have a look at the amazing baby shower Mary did, it has some of the most incredible floral arrangements I have seen in a very long time!

Pretty Pretty Flowers

Here are some beautiful vibrant blooms that are tingling my colour senses at the moment. I LOVE eat drink chic and I these are the blooms her and her mother were experimenting with for her engagement party. Cant wait to see what she does!
Also, I hope you all have a wonderful Easter! I spend my Good Friday sitting in the Botanic Park with three of my close friends and a yummy picnic of cheese, salad, champagne and mars bar slice.

It's no secret...

I LOVE EatDrinkChic Blog.

Her styling and photography are amazing and so well composed and leave me feeling jealous because I wish I could put together images the way she does! Here are her beautiful collection of vintage bottles (an obsession I admit, I share).

Poppies Flowers

Today I went to meet with Sally from Poppies Flowers in Adelaide and she was so much help and had my ideas spot on. And I am very excited to finally know what I want to do and what flowers I am going to have...

blue to purple/fuchsia Hydrangea
white to green Hydrangea
Jasmine
Lavender
Rosemary
a spray of yellow freesias
salmon to light pink coloured open roses
green and black berries
Geranium foliage
pink Dahlias

I also checked out a fabric store for some table runner ideas and found some hessian and great striped fabric. I'll try take another photo tomorrow during the day because the lights have given it a yellow tinge. But that reddish strip is actually a raspberry pink.

Damn my indecisiveness!

So I just got back from a meeting with one of the 4 florists I am going to check out and I just realised how much more thinking I have to do before I meet with any more. I need to figure out what 'garden style' flowers are around in the South Australian summer that last in the heat. I need to know how many of the vases are going to be my own and how many I need to collect to fill three long tables. I need to figure out how the food is going to sit in between the flowers (its all shared plates) and need to know the size of the gaps needed for the plates. I need to figure out if I am going to have two pots at the end of the isle with flowers or noesgays on each of the chairs. And last but not least, I need to figure out what sort of colours I would like... today I tossed up the idea of the purple again...

Purple Today

It is so easy for me to come up with ideas and colour themes for other people's weddings, but when it comes to my own, there are so many ideas in my head and things that I like that I am so so lost right now. I know I will eventually get my act together and stick to one idea. My dilemma at the moment is flowers... and today (it will be different tomorrow, guaranteed) I am liking purple...

Ranunculus Love <3

Most of you are aware that one of my biggest inspiration blogs is Green Wedding Shoes, and while I was catching up on the posts I missed while I was gone, I came across this gorgeous wedding. However, my most favourite parts about the wedding are the flowers done by Floral Art by Rachel.

Inspiration for the day

I love this fun, casual, summer table setting. It has always been my intentions to have potted flowers as part of my table settings with lavender, hydrangeas and other such things to bring the garden feel of the venue indoors. After seeing this image I don't think I can resist including daffodils now!

A Home Grown Garden Wedding

I was keeping myself update on the hundreds of blogs I follow when I came across the blog of Seatle event coordinater Married & More with Michelle via Style Me Pretty. What gorgeous weddings! I was scrolling through only the first couple of pages of the blog, (full of amazing photographs) and found this wonderful garden wedding that was created for 'nature lovers' Margo and Clayton - set within a friends private garden in Seatle. So simple and just stunning... and you must check Married & More with Michelle's blog - it is filled with so much great inspiration! The photography for this wedding was done by Derek Pearson Photography and the flowers (my favourite bit) were organically grown by family friends - i love those little unique hand made/grown touches that seem to be coming more popular in weddings now, it just makes the wedding that much more personal...

Flikr Love: Elena♥

Upon my usual wonders through my ever expanding inspiration sites, I came across these beautiful images from Elena's flickr photostream.

*sigh*

I just know that now I have found these gorgeous flowers, I will frequently waste precious time daydreaming over them as the summer here begins to fade away.

I Love flowers... I could really spend all day on the internet searching for new images (probably because I never buy any fresh ones for me to look at). Let me know of any of your favourite sites for flower inspiration. I would love to waste more time looking through them. x love
