Down at the bottom of the Forest with the Fairies...

I adore this signing table. I have always loved earthy weddings - timbers, hessian, terracotta pots, twine, ferns, moss, black boards, brown paper and vegetables. If I could get married all over again this would be my main inspiration image and the location where this wedding took place would be perfect. Down at the bottom of the garden with the fairies...

Oh My!

You must head over Martha Stewart to look at the fun, colourful and quirky wedding of Joo and Jacob! Here are a few of my favorites...
The gorgeous stationery was done by the wonderful The Indigo Bunting and the Event design by Kelly from Yes, Please Design. The venue for the reception was held at one of my favourite (and it's eco friendly) Smog Shoppe in LA. If you want to see the creative processes of the stationery and event design head over to The Bride's Guide.

Simplebloom photo shoot

There is something so beautiful about light turquoise in a vintage setting. Its such a delicate colour. I would love to do a rustic wedding with light turquoise, lace and twine out in the country with hay bale chairs and calico table cloths. This photo shoot by SimpleBloom is so beautifully inspiring.

Mrs Walsh... sounds strange!

SO We're Married!
It was the most amazing and perfect day! Even everything that didn't go to plan made it amazing, my dad stepped and almost tripped on my dress as he was walking to his seat, Jarrod almost put HIS wedding ring on my finger instead of mine and the music for our first dance didn't work so we had fun and just made the most of a bad situation and danced like idiots (at one stage Jarrod was dancing on his knees). I wish I could show you all my photos right now, but with any luck the wedding will hopefully make it into Wedding Style Guide and so I must be discreet with my photos till then. However you will not be disappointed! The wait will be worth it! I promise!

Here it is...

Mary and Gabrielle's first event!
Held at the picturesque Carrack Hill in Adelaide, the look and feel that Mary wanted for her wedding was whimsical and eclectic yet classy and romantic. I think the wedding suited her to a 'T' and reflected her and Hamish's soft and lovable nature. It was such a wonderful day and not a thing went wrong. We hope you enjoy. x
Unfortunately I cant find my piece of paper with all the vendors on it so I will have to add them later. But they were all fantastic.

Mary and Hamish

I know I know! I have been so slack with getting Mary's wedding photos up, but the wait will be worth it! I promise I'll do it tonight! x

Bringing the inside out is a magical thing

Seeing as you all loved the idea of bringing a chaise lounge outside, I thought you would love this image. What a fabulous idea for the signing table! hmmm wonder if I will find some cheap second hand furniture on my weekend travels around the Port...

Phuket was a dream

Back from Thailand and finding it so hard to settle back into the normality that is life. I miss the heat, I miss the pool, I miss the Mai Thia's, I miss the Mai Thia's in the pool. It was such a fantastic holiday and the best part about it (besides the wedding we were there for and the baby elephants that walked around the hotel) was that we got to share such a wonderful experience with some of our close friends.

The wedding we went for was perfect, I get all teary when I think about it! Ceda looked so beautiful and Aaron looked so nervous! Even the best man cried it was so wonderful. The wedding took place on the beach outside the Sheraton Laguna (where we were all staying) as the sun began to set over the water. We all sat facing the sun set as Ceda arrived bare footed and glowing. The ceremony was performed by her father which was such a nice personal touch and then the reception was held on the resort's beach front restaurant where were helped ourselves to an amazing buffet of fresh seafood, curries and deserts. It was the most relaxing atmosphere with dancing and cocktails and beanbags on the sand , a baby elephant that kissed everyone and we organised surprise fireworks for the couple. There was nothing that could have made the wedding any better!

Colourful, Quirky, Brilliant!

This makes me so excited about my wedding, why? because this wedding looks so fun and crazy and has those gorgeous little details that gives their wedding their own personal touch. The atmosphere of this wedding that these photos (by Jeremy Lawson) capture seems to be exactly the sort of atmosphere Jarrod and I are looking for in our wedding. Enjoy!
