Down at the bottom of the Forest with the Fairies...

I adore this signing table. I have always loved earthy weddings - timbers, hessian, terracotta pots, twine, ferns, moss, black boards, brown paper and vegetables. If I could get married all over again this would be my main inspiration image and the location where this wedding took place would be perfect. Down at the bottom of the garden with the fairies...

Salt Harbor Designs

This is such a beautiful set up by Salt Harbor Designs. But make sure you head over to M&G to have a look at the amazing baby shower Mary did, it has some of the most incredible floral arrangements I have seen in a very long time!

Couldnt resist

I couldnt resist but leave you with one last amazing table setting before I jump on a plane today to Europe. We are ending our trip in Rome and thought this Rustic Italian setup (with a make it yourself Martini bar!) by Sunday Supper would be a perfect way to leave the blog for three long weeks.

Just Peachy!

Style me Pretty a little while ago posted this gorgeous table setting by Carter & Cook Event Co. and I absolutely LOVE it. It is very girly, and I am not normally a fan of peach, but they have used peach in such a beautiful way, especially taking it literally with the peaches as centerpieces.

More Simply Bloom

I'm really loving the photography of Vania and Christine from Simply Bloom at the moment. Their photos are so delicate and whimsy and I always find myself daydreaming of how the events they photographed played out.

And once again, I am obsessing about a rustic turquoise theme.

Sunday Supper Cheese Table

I do regret the summers here in Adelaide being so hot, because it has denied me one of the things I was most excited to have at our wedding... a cheese table. So instead of bathing in the glory of my own cheese table, i'll just drool over everyone else's.

Hessian Table Runners

I'm very excited to see this post over at Style Me Pretty because I am in the process of cutting and sewing three 15 metre hessian table runners and it is nice to know that at least the hours of labor will be worth it in the end, because this table setting looks amazing.

Sorry

Just on a bit of a break from blogging while I'm frantically trying to get my invitations made and sent out. I came home today and Jarrod was sitting at the table making some of the invites for me as a nice surprise. He's been so wonderful with the wedding organising. Here's a pretty image. Love!

Not enough hours in the day!

I have been rather bad with keeping up to date on this.

So much has been going on with work, wedding, etc. So until I get time on the weekend, here is a pretty table setting I found in a magazine that came with the Adelaide Advertiser.

Barnyard Chic

I think these settings are great. With the marked hessian bags stitched together as table runners and the cute fabrics tied over the hay bale chairs. There is such a unique and charming feel to this setting, more so than I have seen in others really. Oh and how wonderful do the green wine bottles look as centrepieces mixed with the moss, candles and white flower. So simple, so neat, so perfect.

Loving...

This feast in a field...

It would be so lovely to own a house in the middle of a large field with a setting like this to have an outdoor lunch with your closest friends. *sigh* So dreamy.

Painted branches

I remember when my brother and I were young and living in England, we didn't have a Christmas tree for a while. Instead my mum used to take us out in the freezing cold to collect branches at the local park and we used to help her paint them white or silver and hang all our ornaments and lights. I thought this was better than any proper Christmas tree, and so fun to make and thought this idea would make for interesting centrepieces...

Loving...

This table setting and table runner! Perfect for a fun summer wedding!
(Images via Anna Kuperberg, flowers by birch and event deign by dream a little dream)

and these..

Two Brunette's Rehearsal Dinner Invitations.

I think these are so so great! I am in love with them! and the fabrics that back the invitations are the perfect patterning I am looking for as possible table runners or napkins. (like above table setting) I also think the brown paper envelopes match the invitations spot on. You really must check out Carolynn and Nell's blog... They're FABULOUS!

Inspiration for the day

I love this fun, casual, summer table setting. It has always been my intentions to have potted flowers as part of my table settings with lavender, hydrangeas and other such things to bring the garden feel of the venue indoors. After seeing this image I don't think I can resist including daffodils now!

The colours of eatable centrepieces!

I am in love with these fruity, vegetably, gardeny, creatively DIVINE centerpieces...

This sort of table setting would be so perfect for my wedding, but i am not sure how i would go about it...will the florist handle everything for me? Or will i have to visit the good ol' Adelaide fruit and Veg markets the day before?

The most wonderful rehursal dinner decor!

*hyperventilates*

This... is just...GREAT!

photography by Marie Labbancz from Art of Love

I was cruising through The Bride's Cafe and i have to say i squealed a little. Maybe it is just me but i absolutely love love LOVE the whole idea of bringing the outside in and vise versa, so when i see something like this, it just makes me crazy! I would really love to have potted trees throughout my reception (seeing as we can't have it outside) and judging by how these market umbrellas look i would appreciate a few of them in there too (screw the superstisions)! I hope you love these images as much as I do!
