Hessian Table Runners

I'm very excited to see this post over at Style Me Pretty because I am in the process of cutting and sewing three 15 metre hessian table runners and it is nice to know that at least the hours of labor will be worth it in the end, because this table setting looks amazing.

  3. I LOVE the hessian table runners!
...And I think you met my mum last week!!

I am getting married at Glen Ewin as well (one year after you) and we seem to have some very similar ideas! Bless all these amazing blogs that help us come up with these gorgeous ideas!

I thought you were going to save me from having to make them.. but I'm having the banquet so my tables have to be the big wide rectangular ones. Bummer!

Love your blog and all of your ideas. Your wedding will be superb!

  5. Hi there! I am a fellow Adelaide bride too.

I love these table runners! I want my wedding to have a similar vibe to yours but on the beach. Our venue is the Palais at Semaphore. I want natural textures and these are perfect. This may be a dumb question but where did you get the hessian from?

And just wanted to say that i LOVE this blog. My dream wedding reception is picnic baskets on the beach but my fiance wants something somewhat more traditional. I am trying to convince him that picnic rugs on the beach for the ceremony will be a great compromise! LOL So thanks, it's great to see I'm not the only one :)

  6. have a look here http://summerpicnicwedding.blogspot.com/2009/09/its-beautiful-day.html

beautiful and the reject shop are selling lantern like this at the moment.

I am hiring out my table runners dependent on the size of your tables and how many you have? The fabric cost me quite a bit from spotlight about $6 a meter, but then, I needed about 30 meters!

I would love you to email me at gabrielle.goodman@hotmail.com and have a chat about your wedding! I have some amazing ideas for a natural beach wedding that i think you would like.

  7. This table is apparently beautiful. The hessian table runner is great. Usually, I recommend polyester tablecloths whenever my friend ask some advice which cloth would be my first choice if ever I will be having a banquet table. I've heard that it is one of the most elegant and sophisticated patterns out there for a gorgeous wedding reception table.
