Today I thought I would take the time to go to a wholesalers to look for sweets for our candy buffet, but when I got there I freaked out and realised I had no idea what I wanted... Do I go one colour?

Multicoloured to tie in with your invitations. Maybe ground things with a brown paper or hessian cloth...

ReplyDeleteSo I think I agree with Anonymous- multi colours with hessian or brown paper to pull it together.
My two cents - the same colours as what you are using in your table runners and cushions. Those colours should give you heaps of lolly options too!!! can't wait to see what you come up with :)

ReplyDeleteIn some ways I LOVE that your wedding is a garden version of my DREAM beach picnic wedding, in other ways I am totally jealous! However, in this case we are on par cos my one thing that I won't back down on is a candy buffet!
ReplyDeleteI personally love the multicoloured thing, but that's cos I am using that exact picture as my inspiration. I think that your colours that you are using for your wedding are vibrant and awesome enough, though, that you could have LOADS of lolly options in those colours. I would just have a think about your guests, plus you and your fiance of course, and think about what kind of lollies you'd want. Cos often people have varying tastes so think about whether you could get a big enough variety in your colours. In mine, I know I couldn't so I'm not!
