Yep, 8 months in and Jarrod's already lost his wedding ring. I told him, 'if you keep taking it off you'll lose it!"....and he did....Men! HA! When I lost my ring in the car once I was freaking out trying to frantically find it, and although I know he is really cut up about it but it doesnt seem to phase him as much as I thought it would. Is it just a man thing? That wedding rings are just rings? I know some married men who don't wear their wedding rings, some because they work as labourers and some because it feels weird. How do you feel about your man wearing a wedding ring?Sunday, September 5, 2010
So he lost it...

Oh No!!! MEN!!! My husband takes his off all the time for the gym, washing the car and things like that. He only wears it when we go out or when he goes to school. I'm not afraid he'll lose it I'm always afraid that he'll forget to put it on.
ReplyDeleteMy Mr. had lost 3 rings during the time we dated... like 'my dream ring' he always takes it off for the gym, football, gardening etc. & sometimes forgets to put it back on... but going on his not so strong history of not recovering the rings he's taken off, he was given an altematum (is that how you spell it?)... if you lose this one - i'll tattoo the next one on~!
ReplyDeleteHe did better than my uncle... my uncle lost his on the first weekend!
ReplyDeleteEven though im not married yet i wouldn't expect my hubby to wear his wedding ring as he is a labourer and i like his fingers attached to his hand! But we have discussed that hes going to have one for other times and maybe get a small finger tattoo
ReplyDeleteBut typical guy losing a ring!

My hubby got thinner like 3 months after the wedding so his wedding ring won't fit his finger anymore... I got a little bit upset because he hasn't gone yet to fix it to the jewerly store... but now I don't mind if some day I forget to wear mine...
ReplyDeleteThis ring is awesome I love to have this one
ReplyDeletemy husband's ring got mysteriously "too small" for him about a year after the wedding!!
ReplyDelete(must be my great cooking!)

This ring look very nice. I will buy this type of ring for my wedding.
ReplyDeleteFunny reading this blog as my husband just lost his ring and it'll be almost 7 months. I think he is more distraught than I am. He did the same, took it off and misplaced it! I think its important to remember that men loose their rings...not sure why, but they do! I brought it up the other day at dinner and all the other married men at the table had lost their ring at some point or multiple points. I'm sorry it happened to your husband and I'm sorry it happened to mine, but its not worth fusing over....I often wonder how he would feel if I lost my engagement ring...I think I'd sleep on the couch for a week! :)
